The Glendale High School varsity boys’ soccer team picked up a 3-1 Pacific League victory over visiting Arcadia on Dec. 15.
Seniors Kevin Anjunyan, Edgar Naghdalyan and Hani Ahmadie each scored one goal, while senior Victor Santos Mejia and junior Armen Arakelian were each credited with an assist.
The unbeaten Nitros (5-0-1 overall, 4-0 in league) will visit Schurr High in Montebello for a nonleague game on Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. before resuming league play against visiting Crescenta Valley High on Jan. 4.
CRESCENTA VALLEY
The Falcons shut out host Burroughs High in Burbank 3-0 in a Pacific League game on Dec. 15. Crecenta Valley senior James Chavez, senior Grant Hovhannisyan and junior Dante Araratyan each scored for the Falcons.
Crescenta Valley (3-5-1, 2-2) will visit Glendale for a league match on Jan. 4 at 4:45 p.m. before hosting Pasadena on Jan. 9.
HOOVER
The Tornados edged visiting Muir High of Pasadena 2-1 in a Pacific League match on Dec. 15 as Sebastian Izaguirre scored both goals.
Hoover (5-2, 2-2) will visit Burbank for a league matchup on Jan. 4 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Arcadia on Jan. 9.
