The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ tennis team was eliminated from the CIF-SS Division II playoffs after losing at San Juan Hills, 15-3, in a second-round match last Friday.
No. 2 singles player Natalie Mirbegian (7-6), the No. 2 doubles team of Liudmila Abadzheva and Elena Manuelian (6-1), and the No. 3 tandem of Lexi Sheynin and Gabriella Rouveyrol (7-6) each won a set.
The Falcons concluded the campaign as the Pacific League runner-up with a 10-2 record (11-3 overall) and will look to return to the postseason next year.
