It’s that time of year again, when a special shredding truck is brought in to give all Glendale residents a chance to securely destroy their confidential documents as they watch through an attached TV camera.
The date is Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the parking lot in back of Grandview Presbyterian Church, 1130 Ruberta Ave., between Glenoaks Boulevard and Fifth Street. Everyone is welcome and no appointment is required.
Sponsored by Northwest Glendale Homeowners Association, the event is $8 per box brought by participants; however, members of the association are given the first three boxes free. Nonmembers in the association’s area can join that day and receive the bonus. For questions, call (818) 754-8274.
