Poet Laureate Program Holds April 6 Workshop

The Glendale Poet Laureate Program is inviting the community to the next installment of its workshop-reading series on Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Library Connection in Adams Square.
Participants can expect to develop poems and explore the craft alongside featured poets Aleen Terzian-Zeitounian (Altadena Poet Laureate, 2010-12), Shonda Buchanon (“Black Indian”) and Matt Sedillo (“Mowing Leaves of Grass”). The workshop will also celebrate the launch of the program’s anthology, Jewel City Review.
The workshop is free and open to the public, and all levels of experience and language backgrounds are welcome to join.
