Summer Beach Bus Runs Through Sept. 4

Summer might be over for those returning to school, but the Beach Bus running through La Cañada Flintridge and La Crescenta is still in full swing until Sept. 4 for a minimal fee.
Beachgoers can take the bus on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for $3 and under. The bus can be boarded starting at 9:15 a.m. at Two Strike Park on Rosemont Avenue, the La Crescenta County Library on Foothill Boulevard, the corner of Montrose Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard, and the corner of Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Boulevard.
The bus arrives at Santa Monica Beach at about 10:45 a.m. and returns at 3:30 p.m.
To ensure a seat on the bus, it’s recommended to make a reservation at LAGoBus.com up to 10 days in advance, and no later than 10 a.m. one day before the trip.
An adult must accompany children under 12 years of age, and riders are encouraged to assemble at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to departure. Riders who miss the bus in Santa Monica will need to find their own transportation back. Service is subject to change due to weather and road conditions.
