BikeLA received nearly $17,000 from the Southern California Association of Governments for two programs that will benefit bicyclists in Glendale.
Through the 2023 Go Human Community Hubs Grant Program, Bike Central L.A. and Walk Bike Glendale will receive funds to improve the biking services they offer.
Walk Bike Glendale will use its funds to host a summer series of rides and workshops to inform bicyclists in south Glendale about riding conditions, accessibility and opportunities to improve safety.
Walk Bike Glendale will also survey Glendale residents and ask for input on advocacy priorities and connect people with community, commission and City Council meetings that include street safety discussions and planning.
