Otis Perry Wilson was born in 1924 to Francis Wilson and Ruth Bates Wilson and was raised in Salem, Oregon.
He joined the Army in World War II and served in the Pacific theatre. After the war, he settled in Southern California, where he met his wife June Drake. They married in 1957, moved to Eagle Rock, and had two children, Scott and Janet.
Otis taught at John Muir and Glenoaks elementary schools in Glendale until retiring in 1983. After his retirement, he was active in lawn bowling leagues in Glendale and Pasadena. He and June were longtime members of the Eagle Rock Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife June, children Scott Wilson and Janet Blanding, and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Eagle Rock Presbyterian Church.
