Girls’ Lacrosse: Crescenta Valley Snaps Glendale Win Streak

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team secured a 15-10 nonleague victory at Glendale on April 1.
Crescenta Valley junior Camden Ballard racked up eight goals and two assists, while junior Sophia Lima finished with five goals and two assists. Junior Kaily Kim chipped in two goals and one assist, while sophomore Julia Marriott was credited with one assist.
Individual statistics for Glendale’s players were not reported to the News-Press.
The Falcons (10-3 overall, 1-1 in league) will visit Sherman Oaks Notre Dame for a Mission League game on April 8 at 5 p.m. before hosting Chaminade High of West Hills on April 9.
Meanwhile, the Nitros (12-3, 4-0) will host Palos Verdes Chadwick for a Prep League game on April 8 at 4 p.m. before hosting Westridge School of Pasadena on April 12.

Crescenta Valley High School junior Sophia Lima scored five goals to help the Falcons beat Glendale in a nonleague game on April 1.
