Falcons, Nitros Notch Pacific League Victories

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team picked up its second straight lopsided victory by defeating Simi Valley, 17-2, in a Pacific League game on Wednesday.
Junior captain Haylen Molina led with four goals and a pair of assists, freshman Camden Ballard added four goals, and junior captain Brianne Ballard posted three goals and five assists. Senior Ashlyn Burton recorded one goal and three assists, junior Shari Park tallied two goals and one assist, senior Nour Shammaa and junior Stephanie Voskanian each had one goal and one assist, junior Sophia Kachkeran scored one goal, and senior Kaisa Lindman Marshall finished with one assist.
The Falcons registered a 17-2 league victory at La Cañada last Friday. Camden Ballard scored five goals, Brianne Ballard collected four goals and four assists, and Molina tallied three goals and one assist. Park produced two goals and one assist, Shammaa notched one goal and one assist, senior Yvalisse Ganzon and freshman Kaylani Parker each had one goal, and Voskanian and Burton finished with two and one assists, respectively.
CVHS (13-5 overall record, 2-0 in league) will visit Royal High of Simi Valley in a league game on Wednesday, April 27.

GLENDALE

The Nitros picked up a lopsided Pacific League victory over visiting La Cañada, 12-1, last Wednesday. No individual statistics were reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Glendale (8-7-2 overall, 1-0 in league) will visit Simi Valley for a league game on Wednesday, April 27.
