The Glendale High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team overwhelmed host Birmingham Charter High of Lake Balboa with an 18-1 nonleague victory on March 14.
The Nitros extended their win streak to a season-best seven games, improving to 10-2 overall (2-0 in league). Individual statistics were not reported to the News-Press.
Glendale will host La Cañada for a Coastal Canyon League game on March 27 at 4:30 p.m. before hosting Crescenta Valley High on April 1.
CRESCENTA VALLEY
The Falcons have been idle since losing a Mission League game at Marlborough High in Los Angeles on March 12.
Crescenta Valley (8-3 overall, 0-1 in league) will host Village Christian High of Sun Valley for a league game on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. before visiting Glendale on April 1.
