The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team lost to visiting Marlborough High of Los Angeles 16-6 in a Mission League game on April 11.
Freshman Rori Dannerth registered 14 saves, while junior Camden Ballard scored three goals. Junior Sophia Lima tallied one goal and one assist, while juniors Kylie Atzert and Kaily Kim each chipped in one goal.
The Falcons (12-5 overall, 2-3 in league) will host Sherman Oaks Notre Dame for a league game on April 22 before traveling to Chaminade High in West Hills for their regular-season finale on April 24. The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on April 27 at 11 a.m.
GLENDALE
The Nitros remained unbeaten in Prep League play after posting a 13-4 victory over visiting Westridge School of Pasadena on April 12. Individual statistics were not reported to the News-Press.
Glendale (14-4, 5-0) will visit La Cañada for its regular-season finale on April 22 at 4:30 p.m. The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on April 27 at 11 a.m.
