Five men were arrested for burglary following a Glendale resident reporting the group in a neighbor’s car near Sonora Avenue, south of Interstate 5, at about 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.
The Glendale Police Department was called, and officers responded, but the suspects fled before they arrived.
Upon further investigation, the car window was found smashed, and police discovered that the suspects also attempted to gain access to the victim’s home via their garage door opener.
After searching the area, patrolling officers found a vehicle containing the five men, who were positively identified and ultimately arrested for burglary.
