Last Saturday, the city celebrated Día de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday that consists of a colorful celebration of life that reunites the living and the dead. The festivities, which took place at the Brand Library, featured face painting, arts and crafts, a community altar, as well as live performances by Nathalia and Friends and Miramonte Elementary’s Little Kids Rock Band. - Photo courtesy Brand Library & Art Center
