Police Arrest Four Burglary Suspects

A coordinated effort by officers with the Glendale Police Department led to the arrest of four burglary suspects.
At approximately 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, GPD officers received the first of a series of burglar alarms. Officers arrived to find several businesses in the 400 block of South Glendale Avenue burglarized.
Approximately 10 minutes later, while officers were still addressing the first incident, a second alarm came out in the 1100 block of South Glendale Avenue. Officers arrived and found several more businesses burglarized.
Recognizing this as a burglary series, officers were on alert as they checked surrounding business districts. While actively searching for the suspects in the 1200 block of West Glenoaks Boulevard, officers heard glass breaking at a business and saw a black vehicle attempting to flee.
Quickly calling for backup, officers coordinated their efforts, effectively boxing in the suspect vehicle without any injuries to the suspects or the officers.
Officers arrested a 24-year-old Los Angeles man and a 21-year-old Long Beach man. Officers also arrested two juvenile suspects.
A search of the vehicle found burglary tools, gloves, ski masks, a reciprocating saw as well as a few thousand dollars in cash. The preliminary investigation connected the four suspects to multiple Glendale commercial burglaries.
