The Hoover High School varsity football team lost to visiting South Pasadena 48-15 in a nonleague game on Sept. 8. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press by the Hoover coaching staff.
The Tornados (1-3 overall) hosted Bernstein High of Hollywood on Sept. 15; the nonleague game ended after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and will be included in next week’s issue. Hoover will host Crescenta Valley High for a nonleague game on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. before hosting Nogales High of La Puente on Sept. 29 at 5 p.m.
