USC Verdugo Hills Hospital will hold its 32nd annual Golf Classic at the Oakmont Country Club on Monday, Sept. 18. This signature event is the hospital’s most celebrated annual fundraiser.
Monies raised support extraordinary, compassionate care for patients, with advancements in medicine, health education and patient experience, while offering them access to the most advanced clinical training and cutting-edge medical technology.
Dr. Armand Dorian, chief executive officer of USC-VHH, said that “the annual Golf Classic has been the cornerstone of our hospital’s fundraising efforts for years. The opportunity to engage our community through a day of golfing followed by a beautiful dinner is a wonderful way to celebrate the exceptional care we have provided the Foothill community and beyond for over 50 years. The event is truly magical and you leave feeling great about the impact the hospital has on the health and wellbeing of the community.”
Co-chairs Talin and Thomas Atamian said that “USC Verdugo Hills Hospital means so much to our family. Knowing that we have a world-class hospital in our backyard here in La Cañada is an incredible feature of living in this area. We have supported the annual Golf Classic for years, so it is truly an honor for us to co-chair the event. We are looking forward to an incredible day of fun and fellowship.”
Participants and supporters are teeing up to delight in this annual fun-filled and action-packed day on the course. Please call the USC-VHH Foundation office at (818) 952-2226 if you’d like to participate as a golfer, dinner guest, bid on an auction item, or sponsor a tee sign.
