GUSD Students Head Into New School Year

cvr-Back 2 school(GUSD) — Students flooded back to Glendale Unified School District schools this week, with the addition of new TK programs across the city. “There were plenty of smiles throughout our campuses as we welcomed our new and returning students to school this week,” said Lauren Cienfuegos, the GUSD communications specialist.

Across the Glendale Unified School District, 25,000 students returned to campuses this week.
The district said in a statement to the News-Press it remains committed to providing a rigorous and culturally relevant and responsive education, supporting students’ social-emotional growth, protecting the health and safety of students and employees, and fostering a positive and inclusive culture of learning.
From those entering TK all the way to high school seniors, students are back and ready to learn.
