Glendale Arts has been chosen by Total Wine & More, the nation’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, as its official charity partner for the March 2023 grand opening of the company’s Glendale location.
In recognition of the partnership, Glendale Arts will receive 10% of all proceeds from wine sales during the store’s grand opening weekend which will run until Sunday.
Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, the public was invited to join Glendale Arts for free tastings, live music and local bites at the store’s VIP Ribbon Cutting Celebration.
“Selecting Glendale Arts to be our grand opening partner is a no-brainer,” said Edward Cooper, Total Wine & More’s vice president of public affairs. “They are on the frontlines supporting and cultivating the arts scene in Los Angeles and working to build greater access and appreciation of the arts in their community. We can appreciate and relate to an organization that invests in people and their audiences.”
Susan Hunt, Glendale Arts board chair, added: “It’s an honor for Glendale Arts to be selected as Total Wine & More’s official charity partner as they enter the Glendale marketplace. We’re excited to collaborate with a leading company in the wine and spirits industry that has a demonstrated commitment to supporting the arts and recognizes the role the arts play in elevating a community’s quality of life.”
Total Wine & More’s Glendale store is located on the lower level of the Glendale Fashion Center at 221 N. Glendale Ave.
