The Glendale High School varsity football team forfeited a nonleague game against Rio Hondo Prep of Arcadia last Friday because head coach Jacob Ochoa said the Nitros were missing 35 players.
Glendale traveled to Sierra Vista High of Baldwin Park for a nonleague matchup last night; the game finished after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
The Nitros (0-7 overall) have a bye this week and will return to action by hosting Viewpoint High of Calabasas in a nonleague game on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.
