An unidentified man was reported to have made lewd comments at a 15-year-old girl outside of Glendale High School in June. At around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, June 9, the student said that the man approached her, asked her if she was “into older men” and then made various lewd comments toward her before leaving for Carr Park. He was described as a 20-30-year-old white man with a mustache and a goatee, standing 5 feet-10 inches tall, weighing 140-150 pounds and wearing a black T-shirt, khaki shorts and a black baseball cap.

A 32-year-old Panorama City man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and receiving stolen property after being found sleeping inside a stolen vehicle in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Colorado Street. Officers said the vehicle’s steering wheel column was damaged and that there were 25 additional keys inside the vehicle.

Information was gathered from incident reports and press releases prepared by the Glendale Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Crescenta Valley Station.
