Carole Bradley

Carole Bradley, born on February 23, 1934, passed away August 14th.  She has been living in a retirement home in Anaheim Hills for the past 2 years. Carole was born in Toronto, Canada to Howard and Elizabeth Bartlett. She lived there until she was ten when she moved to Glendale Ca. with her mom to live with her Aunt Mary, Uncle Jack and cousins, Ruth and Barbara.

Carole graduated from Glendale High School. She went on to work for a bank in Pasadena Ca. where she eventually met her husband, George Bradley. They were married at La Canada Presbyterian Church and made a life in the area.

Carole enjoyed being with people joining clubs at church including the church choir.

After their children, Mike & Cheryl Ann, graduated from high school George and Carole moved several times to Walnut Creek Ca., Washington DC, Richardson Texas and eventually settled in Oxnard Ca. where they lived for over 30 years.

There, Carole immersed herself in the community. She joined the local Assistance League chapter where she was a board member for many years. She also joined a couple of local choirs, Gold Coast Corral and the church choir.

Carole loved to travel. She and George visited many places around the world including places in Europe, China and Canada.  Carole made many trips to Ontario Canada to visit her many cousins.

Carole is survived by her son Michael, daughter in law Nereida, daughter Cheryl Ann, grandkids, Taylor, Nerissa, Alexander, Blake and Jacob and local cousins Ruth and Barbara and their families, nephews Ralph and Jim and all her Canadian cousins. Carole was predeceased by her husband George.
