Boys’ Volleyball: Crescenta Valley Drops League Match at Burbank

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ volleyball team was swept at Burbank, 16-25, 24-26, 24-26, in a Pacific League match on March 14.
Senior Joshua Sohn finished with 15 assists, four digs, two blocks and one kill, while senior Logan Freemon contributed 14 kills six digs and three blocks. Sophomore Tyler Hong collected eight digs, senior Ben Hart produced seven digs, two kills, one ace and one assist, and junior Colin Walley recorded three kills, two assists and one block. Sophomore Sena Hunter tallied two blocks and one kill, while junior Matthew Lee registered one kill and one assist. Sophomore Aubrey Peterson chipped in one kill and one block, while senior Matt Hong had one ace and one dig.
The Falcons (16-5 overall, 2-1 in league) will host Arcadia for a league match on March 27 at 6 p.m. before hosting Burroughs High of Burbank on March 29.

GLENDALE
The Nitros have been on a break since defeating Burbank in a Pacific League match on March 12.
Glendale (7-3, 1-1) will visit Hoover High for a nonleague match on March 25 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Burroughs High of Burbank on March 27.

HOOVER
The Tornados have been idle since being swept at Pasadena in a nonleague match on March 5. Hoover will host Glendale for a nonleague match on March 25 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Compton Early College on March 27.
