Ascencia Gala to Open Doors to Change on April 13

Bruce and Debbie Hinckley

Ascencia’s 16th annual gala, Opening Doors to Change, is set for Saturday, April 13, at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale beginning at 6 p.m. The event includes a no host bar, a formal three-course gourmet dinner, dancing and a live auction.
The gala is Ascencia’s main fundraiser of the year. All funds raised will go to support the agency’s critical life-saving services. Ascencia’s mission is to lift people out of homelessness, one person, one family at a time.
This year’s gala will honor Bruce and Debbie Hinckley with the Ambassador Hope and Compassion award, and Las Candelas with the Ambassador of Hope Award. Rick Dinger will serve as emcee and lead the live auction and fund-a-need.
Live action packages include a five-night stay on Maui; Jay Leno’s Big Dog Garage Tour; a VIP tour and lunch of Fire Station 21 in Glendale; a Big Bear stay; a paella party for 20 people at the winner’s house; Hollywood Bowl Pool Circle box of four (third row from stage) with VIP Parking; and a wine collection. Other raffle baskets and prizes will be offered.
Tickets are $300 and can be purchased online at Ascencia’s website. For more information on sponsorships or assistance on purchasing tickets, contact Camille Guerrero at (818) 246-7900 ext. 114 or email cguerrero@ascenciaca.org. For more information, visit AscenciaCA.org.
