The Crescenta Valley and Hoover high schools’ varsity boys’ tennis teams had their season opener postponed due to inclement weather.
It was rescheduled for Feb. 23, but the Pacific League match ended after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and the result will be included in next week’s issue.
The Falcons will visit Glendale for a league match on Feb. 27 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Pasadena on Feb. 29. Meanwhile, the Tornados will visit Burroughs High in Burbank for a league match on Feb. 27 at 3:45 p.m. before traveling to Arcadia on Feb. 29.
GLENDALE
The Nitros suffered a 15-3 season-opening loss against visiting Eagle Rock High of Los Angeles on Feb. 15. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Glendale (0-1 overall) will host Crescenta Valley High for a Pacific League match on Feb. 27 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Burroughs High of Burbank on Feb. 29.
