Glendale Police Thwarts Pharmacy Break-In

After noticing a car with tinted windows and a piece of cardboard intentionally blocking the rear license plate car in the parking lot of a local pharmacy in the 1400 block of E. Colorado Street, Glendale Police Department officers searched the vehicle and detained two men based on suspicion they were planning to burglarize the pharmacy.
Patrol officers found cutting blades used to defeat security gates, ski masks and gloves. The driver also had a $20,000 warrant out of Los Angeles Police Department.
Ultimately, the break-in was thwarted. The men were arrested for criminal conspiracy, felony attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools and booked them at Glendale City Jail. Their car was towed as evidence.
