Thank you for highlighting the candidates for Glendale City Council and School Board in your most recent issue.
I am throwing my support behind Telly Tse for GUSC Area A. I grew up going to Glendale public schools and understand what an asset these institutions are to our community. They prepped me to continue on to UCLA and later to get my MBA.
No one knows more about how schools are actually run and what their strengths and weaknesses are than parents with children in those schools as well as the teachers and staff who work there. The only candidate that checks those boxes is Mr. Tse, who is a GUSD parent and who is a working special education teacher in the Beverly Hills School District. He has a modern outlook on education and bases his stances on current best practices, such as making sure that every student is supported no matter their background or needs.
Additionally, Mr. Tse has been a long-time AYSO soccer coach in his community. His impressive array of endorsements more than demonstrates how well Mr. Tse is respected. I hope you will join me in supporting this outstanding candidate.
