Poet Laureate Workshop Set for Jan. 13

The city of Glendale Poet Laureate Program will present a poetry workshop and reading on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the theme, “Finding Futures: promises and perils of the path ahead,” at the Pacific Park Library.
Workshop attendees will develop poems and explore craft alongside featured poets Shahé Mankerian, Brian Sonia-Wallace and Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo.
This workshop is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be provided. All levels of experience and language backgrounds are welcome.
