The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ soccer team edged visiting Burbank 1-0 in a Pacific League match on Dec. 21 as junior Andre Baktchedjian scored the deciding goal.
The Falcons (4-5-1 overall, 3-2 in league) will visit Glendale for a league match on Jan. 4 at 3:45 p.m. before hosting Pasadena on Jan. 9.

The Tornados lost to Burroughs High of Burbank 4-2 in a Pacific League match on Dec. 21. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
