The concert features glorious arrangements for chorus and full orchestra of more than 30 favorite Christmas carols and songs, including an audience sing-along, accompanied by visuals and videos of the season.
Prior to the concert at 1:30 p.m., LCPC’s director of music and worship arts, Jack Lantz, will present a lecture in the church sanctuary on the historical controversies surrounding the music of Christmas.
There is no cost for admission. Freewill offering will be received. La Cañada Presbyterian Church is located at 626 Foothill Blvd. For those who cannot attend in-person, the concert and pre-concert lecture will be livestreamed via LCPC’s website, YouTube and Facebook.
