CVHS Tops Monrovia for Third Straight Win

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ water polo team posted a 12-6 nonleague victory at Monrovia on Dec. 7 to secure their third straight victory.
Miranda Graham tallied 12 saves, while Ani Thomassian racked up seven goals. Gianna Double and Michelle Khachatryan each chipped in two goals, while Emily Wong and Clea Tournois each scored one goal.
The Falcons (3-1 overall) finished competing in the Chino Hills Tournament on Dec. 16 and opens Pacific League action against visiting Muir High of Pasadena on Dec. 21 at 3:45 p.m.

HOOVER
The Tornados have not played a game since losing a nonleague game at Walnut on Dec. 11. Hoover (1-1) will open Pacific League action against Burbank on Dec. 21 at 3:45 p.m. before traveling to Burroughs High in Burbank on Jan. 4.

GLENDALE
The Nitros have also been away from the pool since their nonleague loss to visiting La Cañada on Dec. 6. Glendale (3-3) will open Pacific League action at Pasadena on Dec. 21 at 3:45 p.m. before visiting Saint Joseph High in Lakewood on Jan. 3.
