K9 Comedy Night to Raise Funds for Furry Squad

The Glendale Police Foundation will host the third annual Glendale Police Howl at the Moon K9 Comedy Night, a fundraiser that will be filled with laughter and camaraderie, at the Glen Arden Club on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m.
The Glendale Police K9 Program, a vital part of the GPD’s law enforcement efforts, plays an instrumental role in maintaining the security of the city.
The proceeds from this exclusive event directly support this program, ensuring, health, continued training, nourishment and essential equipment for the GPD’s canine companions.
“The bond between our officers and their K9 partners is unparalleled, and the services they provide are indispensable in maintaining public safety,” GPD said in a statement. “These remarkable animals assist in search and rescue operations, apprehending suspects, and detecting illegal substances, among various other crucial tasks.
“Your generous sponsorship can help us sustain and elevate this program’s effectiveness. We invite you to become a part of our mission by attending. … Your support not only demonstrates your commitment to community well-being but also helps us equip our officers and their K9 partners with the necessary resources to excel in their duties,” the GPF said in a statement.
The Glen Arden Club is located at 357 Arden Ave. in Glendale. Doors open at 5 p.m. For more information, call (818) 374-7979 or email at K9comedy@gpf.org.
