The USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation hosted its most financially successful Golf Classic in the tournament’s 32-year history on Monday at Glendale’s Oakmont Country Club.
The event raised more than $500,000 as more than 140 golfers competed and 200 people attended dinner.
Talin and Thomas Atamian served as the event’s co-chairs. Other members of the Golf Classic Committee were Bobby Calderon, Cindy Gilbert, Tina Marie Ito, Ruth McNevin, Purnima Panchal, Analily Park, Robin Phillips, Cindy Porcell, Cecelia Pyzow, and Steve and Sue Wilder.
“I continue to be amazed at how this community comes together to support our beloved USC Verdugo Hills Hospital,” said USC-VHH Foundation Senior Executive Director Kerri Yoder Hubbard. “As our largest fundraising event of the year, we strive to deliver a fun and engaging Golf Classic that gets people excited about giving back. We are so grateful for all of the support.”
Dr. Armand Dorian, CEO of USC-VHH, served as the key speaker during dinner and talked about the hospital’s highlights and recent accomplishments.
The fundraiser’s premier sponsors included Robert Moore, Chubb, Rodney Swan, Horizon Health, Lakewood Management, Robin Dorman, Penny and Ted Clark, Concord Hospitalist Group, Edge Solutions & Consulting, Adept, and Janet Hamilton.
