The more than 300 members of Herbert Hoover High School’s Class of 2023 were lauded as graduates at Ferguson Field on June 6.
During the ceremony, Principal Jennifer Earl gave the commencement address, as well as the invocation, with Executive Director Chris Coulter and Ingrid Gunnell of the Glendale Unified School District’s Board of Education.
Student speeches were then given by Associated Student Body President Amanda Bystrom, senior class President Lydia Araujo and student speaker Ellysee Baker.
Staff and counselors awarded the students with their diplomas, and Earl congratulated and presented the graduates of the Class of 2023, which was welcomed with wonderful applause.
