Crescenta Valley High School seniors closed their high school journeys to take one step toward their next goals on June 7 at their graduation ceremony.
The CVHS Graduation Orchestra set the tone of the ceremony with “Pomp and Circumstance,” along with the presentation of colors by the CVHS Air Force JROTC, a salute to the flag and performances by the Charismatics Chamber Choir.
Next, Christina Sua and Marta Pambukhchyan spoke to their fellow seniors, followed with the presentation of the Class of 2023 led by Principal Christine Benitez and the recognition of the class.
When it became time for the seniors to walk the stage in their caps and gowns and accept their diplomas, attendees cheered them on.
The alma mater played to commemorate the occasion, and the seniors turned their tassels, making them official graduates.
Afterward, the CVHS Falcon mascot departed in celebration, much like how the alums will now spread their wings.
