Firefighters Rescue Workers From Collapsed Building

A movie studio under construction collapsed on Wednesday in Glendale, leaving six construction workers trapped.
Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena fire departments, along with Urban Search and Rescue came to help the six workers trapped after the collapse of the entire interior of a building located in the 1200 block of Glendale Avenue.
The workers were using a crane to install large metal roof trusses on the building.
Some of the workers were in cranes during the collapse and had to be airlifted out. Three of the workers stranded inside were rescued by helicopter.
Although there were no serious injuries, five of the workers were taken to the hospital for examination.
The cause of the collapse is still unknown and under investigation, according to City News Service.
