The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ soccer team blanked host Glendale, 4-0, to remain undefeated in Pacific League play last Thursday.
Senior Owen Denisiu recorded a pair of goals while senior Lukas Elze and junior Grant Hovhannisyan each scored once.
The Falcons (10-1 overall, 4-0 in league) will resume league action at Burroughs High in Burbank on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.

The Nitros suffered their first loss of the season after falling to visiting Crescenta Valley High, 4-0, in a Pacific League game this season.
Glendale (6-1 overall, 3-1 in league) will look to reenter the win column when it resumes league play at Muir High in Pasadena on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.

HOOVER

The Tornados suffered their third consecutive shutout after losing to visiting Birmingham High of Lake Balboa, 16-0, in a nonleague game last Friday. Hoover was previously edged in a Pacific League game against visiting Burbank, 1-0.
The Tornados (2-5-2 overall, 1-2-1 in league) will resume league action at Arcadia on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.
