Falcons Shut Out by Pasadena, 41-0

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity football team was blanked by Pacific-Upper League powerhouse Pasadena, 41-0, in a league game last Friday.
Senior Alexander Barseghyan completed two passes for 21 yards and rushed for 5 yards on one carry while senior Shade Schaefer made three catches for 22 yards and rushed for 16 yards on five carries.
Junior Bjorn Hermansen rushed for 24 yards on nine carries, junior Cristian Flores rushed for 5 yards on seven carries, and senior Zach Dunlavey rushed for 3 yards on one carry.
The Falcons (0-4 in league, 1-8 overall) concluded the regular season with a league contest at Arcadia on Friday; the game ended after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
