Glendale Police Department

A 22-year-old woman and 34-year-old man, both from Los Angeles, were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft after being pulled over in a stolen vehicle at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, in the 1500 block of Colorado Street. Police reported finding a bag of methamphetamine and a pipe in the man’s possession. The woman was also booked for probation violation and an outstanding warrant.

A 30-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and a 49-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, appropriation of lost property and for outstanding warrants after the pair were pulled over in a stolen vehicle at around midnight Monday, July 25, near San Fernando Road and San Fernando Court. Police reported finding methamphetamine, along with ID cards and credit cards belonging to other people, in the vehicle.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station

A welding machine was reported to have been stolen from a home under construction in the 2400 block of Laughlin Avenue in La Crescenta sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday, July 28, and 9 a.m. Friday, July 29. It appeared the intruder entered through a back bathroom window.

An unknown person was reported to have shattered the driver’s side rear window of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck parked in the 2800 block of Paraiso Way in La Crescenta sometime between 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 29, and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 30. Nothing was reported stolen from the truck.
