The Hoover High School varsity boys’ tennis team lost a Pacific League match at Glendale High, 12-6 last Thursday as the Tornados’ No. 3 singles player, Alec Avedisian, swept his sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.
Hoover’s No. 1 doubles team of Vincent Abechian and Benjamin Lim won a pair of sets, 7-5, 6-0, while No. 2 singles player Albert Poghosyan won one set, 6-2.
No individual statistics were reported for Glendale.
The Tornados are scheduled to host Pasadena High in a league matchup on Thursday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Glendale will visit Pasadena in a league contest on Tuesday, April 12, at 3:30 p.m.
