Glendale Police Department
A 38-year-old Los Angeles man and 27-year-old Glendale woman were arrested after being pulled over at around midnight Thursday, March 17, near the intersection of Central Avenue and San Fernando Road. Police reported finding a loaded so-called “ghost gun,” as well as driver’s licenses and credit cards belonging to other people, inside the vehicle. The man was booked for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, owning ammunition while prohibited and a community supervision violation. The woman, who police said was carrying a methamphetamine pipe, was booked for identity theft and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

A 27-year-old North Hollywood man and a 32-year-old transient man were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft after police located a stolen vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 800 block of North Pacific Avenue at around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 16. Officers reported finding several cellphones, keys to another vehicle, marijuana, methamphetamine, jewelry, a pry tool and bolt cutters inside the vehicle. The North Hollywood man also was booked for possession of burglary tools and parole violation.

The police department announced the following recent traffic arrests, which resulted in the defendants’ vehicles being impounded:
• An 18-year-old Panorama City man for reckless driving at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, near the intersection of Broadway and Orange Street
• A juvenile for speed exhibition at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at the intersection of Boston Avenue and Markridge Drive
• A juvenile and an 18-year-old Los Angeles man for illegal speed contest at 9 p.m. Monday, March 21, at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station
An unknown person was reported to have stolen gasoline after puncturing the gas tank of a vehicle parked in a carport at an apartment building in the 4900 block of Ramsdell Avenue in La Crescenta sometime from 2:45-4 p.m. Friday, March 18.
