Memorial Day Ceremony Set at City Hall

Glendale’s annual Memorial Day ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday outside City Hall at Memorial Wall, 613 E. Broadway, closest to the corner of East Broadway and Isabel Street. The event is an opportunity to remember and honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to the United States.
The event will be led by Deputy Police Chief Andrew Jenks, with Lt. Alex Krikorian, a distinguished Marine veteran, delivering the keynote address. The ceremony will include a presentation of colors, a flag salute and the singing of the national anthem. The Glendale Police Department Color Guard and Police Explorers will take part in the presentation of colors and the laying of the roses, respectively.
The community is encouraged to attend and participate in this event to honor those who have made the sacrifice for the country’s freedom. Refreshments will be provided by the Glendale Elks Lodge. For more information, contact the city of Glendale at (818) 548-4844, option 1.
