Swimming: Center, Dobie Earn Top Marks at CIF Finals

Crescenta Valley and Glendale high schools sent one individual each to compete at the CIF Southern Section Swimming & Diving Championships at Mt. San Antonio College on May 4. The competitors participated in the Division II and III finals.
CV’s Ciera Center won the girls’ Division II 1-meter diving event with a score of 538.20. Meanwhile, Glendale’s Chloe Dobie finished fifth in the girls’ Division III 1-meter diving event with a score of 349.80.
The three-day CIF State Swimming & Diving Championships began Thursday, May 9 and concluded Saturday, May 11 at the Clovis Olympic Swim Complex at Clovis West High School. The diving finals were slated for May 9, while prelims and finals were scheduled for the following days. The Swimming and Paralympic Finals started Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
