As part of the city of Glendale’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement, it has brought back its free compost giveaways, with its next event on Saturday, April 13, from 8 a.m. to noon, in parking lot 30.
Compost is nature’s way of recycling organic matter into a nutrient-rich soil amendment. It can nourish gardens, landscapes and indoor plants.
Parking lot 30 is located at 1255 N. Verdugo Road.
