Boys’ Lacrosse: Falcons Drop Nonleague Tilt, Nitros on Break

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team lost at Castaic 13-9 in a nonleague game on March 25.
Senior captain Quincy Lunt finished with three goals and one ground ball, senior captain Nelson Lunt contributed two goals and three ground balls, and juniors Charlie Allen, Tegan Clark and Samuel Gore each registered one goal and two ground balls. Junior Andrew Peterson produced nine face-off wins, eight ground balls and one assist, senior captain Matthew Kubela recorded eight saves, and freshman Griffin Barnes tallied two saves. Senior Michael Clark collected four ground balls, while sophomore Aidan Roe-Briesewitz was credited with three ground balls and three face-off wins. Senior Elias Shammaa, senior Jackson Roehr and junior Cormac Abaravich each had two ground balls, junior Alec Kousherian had one assist and one ground ball, and senior David Ajemyan, senior Jason Yee and junior Ezra Han each had one ground ball.
The Falcons (2-7 overall, 1-2 in league) will visit Birmingham Charter High in Lake Balboa for a nonleague game on April 4 at 4:30 p.m. before resuming Gold Coast League play at Village Christian High in Sun Valley on April 10.

GLENDALE
The Nitros have been on a break since losing to Centennial High of Corona in a nonleague game on March 15.
Glendale (2-5, 0-1) will resume Coastal Canyon League play at Simi Valley on April 2 at 7 p.m. before hosting Grace High of Simi Valley on April 4.
