Girls’ Lacrosse: Win Streak Continues for Glendale

The Glendale High School varsity girls’ lacrosse continued its winning stride with a 15-1 Coastal Canyon League victory over visiting La Cañada on March 27. The Nitros posted their ninth consecutive victory, the third-best mark in program history behind the 2018 team’s 12-game win streak.
The Nitros previously secured an 18-7 league victory over visiting Heritage Christian High of Northridge on March 21. Individual statistics were not reported to the News-Press.
Glendale (12-2 overall, 4-0 in league) will host Crescenta Valley High for a nonleague game on April 1 at 4 p.m. before hosting Palos Verdes Chadwick on April 8.

CRESCENTA VALLEY
The Falcons defeated visiting Village Christian High of Sun Valley 12-4 in a Mission League game on March 27.
Freshman Rori Danneth recorded five saves, juniors Camden Ballard and Sophia Lima each scored five goals, and junior Kaily Kim and sophomore Caroline Fox each finished with one goal and one assist.
Crescenta Valley (9-3 overall, 1-1 in league) will visit Glendale for a nonleague game on April 1 at 4 p.m. before traveling to Westridge School in Pasadena on April 5.
