Boys’ Lacrosse: Nitros Fall Short  in League Opener

The Glendale High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team lost to visiting Centennial High of Corona 20-1 in a nonleague game on March 15.
The Nitros lost to visiting Royal High of Simi Valley 12-9 in their Coastal Canyon League opener on March 13. Individual statistics were not reported to the News-Press.
Glendale (2-5 overall, 0-1 in league) will visit Simi Valley High for a league game on April 2 at 7 p.m. before hosting Grace High of Simi Valley on April 4.

The Falcons have been away from the field since snapping a five-game losing streak with a Gold Coast League victory over visiting Heritage Christian High of Northridge on March 12.
Crescenta Valley (2-6, 1-2) will visit Castaic for a nonleague game on March 25 at 3:30 p.m. before traveling to Chaminade High in West Hills on March 28.
