Girls’ Lacrosse: Glendale Tops Lynwood to Stretch Win Streak

The Glendale High School varsity girls’ lacrosse team extended its win streak to six games with a 16-6 nonleague victory at Lynwood on March 12. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Glendale secured a 15-5 Marmonte League victory at Westridge School in Pasadena on March 11.
Mika Brown racked up six goals, while Jet Brown finished with five goals and one assist. Victoria Meneses registered three goals and two assists, while Kana Baker scored one goal.
The Nitros posted an 11-4 league victory at Palos Verdes Chadwick on March 7. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
The Nitros (9-2 overall, 3-0 in league) will host Heritage Christian High of Northridge for a league game on March 21 at 3:30 p.m. before hosting La Cañada on March 27.

CRESCENTA VALLEY
The Falcons lost at Marlborough High in Los Angeles 20-8 in a Mission League game on March 12.
Rori Danneth recorded 10 saves, while junior Camden Ballard scored five goals. Junior Kaily Kim finished with two goals and two assists, sophomore Caroline Fox chipped in one goal, and junior Ashley Giboney was credited with one assist.
Crescenta Valley (8-3, 0-1) will host Village Christian High of Sun Valley for a league game on March 27 at 7:30 p.m. before visiting Glendale on April 1.
