CIF Playoff Run Ends in Second Round for Crescenta Valley Girls’ Basketball

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ basketball team saw its season end in the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs after a 75-48 loss at Brentwood School in Los Angeles on Feb. 10.
Senior Kylie Ray racked up a team-best 24 points with six rebounds and two assists. Freshman Anik Nortikyan poured in 10 points with nine rebounds and one assist, while junior Keira Calaguas registered six points, four rebounds, three blocks, three assists and one steal. Junior Darby Stayton tallied seven rebounds and two points, while freshman Yashvi Ahir chipped in two points, one steal, one rebound and one assist. Sophomore Amelia Parmentier contributed two points, two rebounds and one assist, while freshman Kelin Shajanian finished with two points and one rebound.
The Falcons concluded the campaign as undefeated Pacific League champions with a 14-0 record (23-7 overall).
