The Crescenta Valley High School varsity girls’ soccer team failed to win a game at the Hart Showcase last week.
The Falcons lost to Saugus, 2-0, and Liberty High of Bakersfield, 5-1, on Dec. 28, while suffering a 6-0 loss against Hart High of Newhall the following day. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Crescenta Valley (8-5-1 overall, 5-0 in league) will visit Pasadena for a Pacific League match on Jan. 9 at 3:45 p.m. before visiting Arcadia on Jan. 12.
HOOVER
The Tornados hosted Burbank in their return to Pacific League action on Jan. 4; the game finished after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
Hoover (3-10-1, 0-4-1) will visit Arcadia for a league match on Jan. 9 at 3:30 p.m. before traveling to Glendale on Jan. 12.
