Ascencia Adopt-A-Family Seeks Holiday Helpers

Ascencia’s Adopt-A-Family program has returned with increased demand from the community.
This year, Ascencia saw a 55% spike in Adopt-A-Family applications and are seeking community members to become “holiday helpers” and adopt some of their clients this holiday season.
Holiday helpers will be given a wish list of items ranging from $20-$50 each and can use their discretion to spend what they feel is appropriate for their family. Ascencia does ask that helpers provide at least one gift for each member of the family. If they are financially able and inclined, helpers can adopt more than one family.

To see a list of clients who need gifts this holiday season, participants can scan the QR code. Last names of clients are kept anonymous, but the number of individuals (adults and children) in each household is available, as well as a short story about who they are.
Once participants sign up, they will get an immediate confirmation email and second email within two business days. The second email will include a wish list of items that will range from $20-$50 for each household and instructions so helpers can get started shopping right away.
Once all the gifts are purchased, visit the following link to schedule an appointment to drop off between Dec. 11 and Dec. 15: calendly.com/ascencia/ascencia-adopt-a-family-2023.
